We currently have a vacancy for a Full Time Permanent Deputy Head Teacher 

 

Salary: Leadership L2 – L6

 

Required from September 2002.

Due to the retirement of our current Deputy Head, the Governors seek to appoint a passionate and driven Deputy Head Teacher to work alongside the Head Teacher and staff in our popular, good school.

This role will include a full time teaching commitment, with a half a day dedicated leadership time per week.

 

We are looking for someone who:

 

  • Will actively support the school’s vision; that every individual is valued and makes a valuable contribution to school life so that they are the very best that they can be
  • Has a nurturing outlook and is able to develop strong mutual relationships with all
  • Is calm, confident and a good communicator with all stakeholders
  • Has high expectations of children’s achievement, attainment and behaviour
  • Is an outstanding classroom practitioner who has experience of teaching KS2
  • Has in-depth knowledge and understanding of the current National Curriculum and how this is tailored to individual schools and communities they serve
  • Highly developed knowledge and understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Can demonstrate leadership skills which motivate and inspire staff and children to achieve the highest standards
  • Has experience of using data effectively to drive improvements through the school
  • Can support the Head Teacher in the strategic development of the school
  • Has a commitment to raising standards for all
  • Is resilient, patient and has a passion for curriculum development
