PSHE and RSHE curriculum in Action
At Jacksdale Primary and Nursery School PSHE and RSHE is supported by the PSHE Association. This is a National Body providing staff training, resources and support to schools to deliver high quality PSHE and RSHE lessons. This part of the curriculum is integral to the values and ethos of the school. At Jacksdale we are supporting every child to develop in this area by providing a progressive and thematic approach across the school.
In the Autumn Term children in KS1 and KS2 delve in to the PSHE and RSHE themes of 'Healthy Relationships'.
In the Spring Term this is followed by -
'Living in the Wider World'
In the Summer Term all children across KS1 and KS2 explore -
'Health and Well-being'
