I hope that all families are keeping well and safe - things are certainly very unusual at the moment, but keeping up with social distancing and lockdown is so important for us all - so well done to everyone!
We've added a few links on the class pages - under the rainbow icon, 'explaining coronavirus to children'. These are online books which you can read with your children and they explain the facts about the virus as well as addressing the 'normal' emotions which we all feel at one time or another. These are particularly useful if your child is feeling very anxious as the lockdown continues.
Staff have been trying to contact all families to touch base via the phone in the last week and this will continue each week as long as we aren't at school - so if you receive a phone call from a with held number, it may well be your child's teacher phoning to speak to them and have a catch up as we miss seeing them every day!
The class pages have now been set up on facebook as private pages and general feedback is really positive - it's amazing to see what everyone has been up to and you have all certainly been really busy and creative.
School is open between 8:00 - 3:30 each day if you need to talk to someone.
The FSM vouchers have been ordered, though the system seems to be experiencing a few teething problems which the DFE have assured us they are trying to smooth out. If you are due to receive a voucher we have already been in touch with you - but please check your junk / spam emails on Monday 20th as quite a few schools have reported that the emails are ending up in places other than the inbox! I have uploaded a letter for your information in the parents - letters section of the school website.
