Tis the season to be jolly!

As we enter the last few days of Autumn term, I would like to thank all parents / carers / grandparents / childminders and visitors to our site for helping us to keep everyone safe by following all of the updated arrangements which have been in place throughout the term.

An email has been sent to all parents / carers about setting up new devices for children and helping to keep them safe as some of them may have reached the age or be fortunate enough to perhaps et a new device from Santa!  This link is available on the website (useful links section).

An additional email has also been sent today (Tuesday 14th December), outlining the new DFE (Department for Education) guidance which differs slightly to previous guidance if children or adults who are fully vaccinated have been identified as a close contact.  This information is also available on the school website - key information - covid updates 2021-2022.

Last week we sent an email to all parents / carers about children's newly reset login details for accessing TEAMS in the event that remote learning is directed at any point - although we hope that this is not needed!  There was information included in the December newsletter about how to set up TEAMs on different devices.

We have thoroughly loved having our school festivities continue this year - our younger children managed a whopping 8 nativity performances (4 for the early years and 4 for the KS1 children), many of the children attended the community Christmas Tree lighting event, the KS2 children have attended their Christingle service at Church this morning - many thanks to Reverend Fiona and her amazing team,  Christmas dinner is taking place today, an online panto was enjoyed yesterday, the nursery, reception, year 1 and year 2 children are all loving their ELF workshops and class parties will be taking place from today until the end of term!

Alongside all of this, the children have worked incredibly hard this term in class and for that we commend them.  It hasn't been easy due to staff shortages and pupil absence, but everyone has continued to work as hard as they possibly can and for that I think our school is incredible!

We would like to wish every member of our community and very happy and safe Christmas and we look forward to continuing the hard work in the New Year.
