November already!

Wow...November is here already - I can hardly believe that we've completed a whole half term!!!

Our Red, White & Blue Day was brilliant, giving us the opportunity to think about the difference other people make in our lives - even when we don't know them.  A special thank you goes to some of our families with servicemen who were kind enough to bring in articles for the children to look at or learn from - it was a really humbling experience.

The children are excelling themselves in and around school with their use of manners and the new behaviour system is going well - low level disruption is being minimised and children are responding to the positive praise brilliantly.  The fact that 100% of our pupils are in uniform, including school shoes is to be commended so thank you to all parents and carers too...

The PTA's Halloween disco was, as always, hugely enjoyable and the costumes were epic - at one point we even had a ghostly figure of a giant minion in our midst... just before bucketfuls of balls were flung everywhere much to everyone's amusement!!!

As the clocks have turned back, could I please ask that all children bring their coats to school as there is definitely a chill in the air some mornings and we don't want anyone getting snuffly and sneezy.

Look out for the November newsletter which will have all of the details of our Christmas line up - nativities, carols services, Christmas fayres, Christmas Tree lighting event and Christmas jumper day to name a few...
