We are a fabulous bunch of children who are taught by Mrs March and Mrs Manton.
Mrs March teaches on Mondays, Tuesdays and alternate Wednesdays.
Mrs Manton teaches on alternate Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Mrs Pell is our wonderful teaching assistant who supports Year 3. Mrs Templeton and Mrs Wetton also support Year 3 with their learning throughout the school day at different times.

Each September we welcome new children to our wonderful school, some of whom have attended Westwood Infant School. It is so good for us to meet new friends and develop relationships with new people, and we all make a great team!
This term we are learning:
English:
Maths: Place value, addition & subtraction, multiplication & division
Science: Rocks!
History: Stone Age to Iron Age
Geography: Locational knowledge - cities, counties and regions and the difference between human and physical features
Religious Education: Throughout our RE lessons we will be exploring signs, symbols and parables. Towards the end of the term we will make a visit to our local church.
Art: Drawing skills: how to use lines and shading to emphasise form and facial expressions. Artist study: David Hockney & Sonia Boyce
Design & Technology: food technology - balanced diets and healthy choices
Computing: We will use Purple Mash to explore coding.
P.E.: Indoor and outdoor PE will focus on fundamental physical skills of balance, control, footwork and agility. Including personal best challenges and some mini-game situations.
PSHE / RSHE: We will explore Relationships and families within our PSHE, understanding 'Different Families - Same Love'
Languages: French - simple greetings and simple rhymes.
Music: We will listen, appraise, learn and perform some songs and perform accompaniments to them.
P.E. Days
Our class have P.E. / sports on the following days. Please make sure that children are wearing the correct P.E. uniform of a plain white t-shirt, black / nay shorts or joggers, black / navy hoody and trainers.
