Year 2 - 2LW
Welcome to our class...
We are a hard-working and friendly class of year 2 children and our teachers are Miss Wilkinson and Mrs Latham. Miss Wilkinson teaches us every Monday, Tuesday and alternate Wednesday and Mrs Latham teaches us on an alternate Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Mrs Templeton, Miss Kennedy and Mrs Clarke also support our learning.
We work really hard!
It's super important for us to make sure that we are able to practise our reading every day at home as well as at school, because by the time we leave year 2 we should be able to read between 80 - 90 words a minute... that's called 'fluency'.
We're also learning how to join our letters so that we can write beautifully and quickly -we have a lot of great ideas to share with everyone, so it's really important that we can get them onto paper because all of us sharing our ideas out loud with the teachers is a bit noisy :)

P.E. Days
Our class have P.E. / sports on the following days. Please make sure that children are wearing the correct P.E. uniform of a plain white t-shirt, black / navy shorts or joggers, black / navy hoody and trainers.
