We have been learning about plants so far this term; learning about the conditions that are required for growth and the process of pollination and the parts of a flower. Here are our models of plants, showing the different parts that are required for a new seed to develop.

Well done 4MW - you are making Miss Wilkinson and I so proud - not to mention your adults at home. Here is a small sample of home learning that we have loved to receive and find out about. You really are 'Home Learning Champions'.

The Boy at the back of the class

by Onjali Q Rauf

Before school closed, we were reading this book. Last week we got permission from the publisher to continue to read this story to 4MW via our website. So thank you Hachette Publishers and Orion Children's group.

The story is about Ahmet and the friends he makes as he joins a new school, in a new country, all by himself. It covers the story of refugees with honesty and looks at this through the eyes of a child.

We hope you enjoy it smiley
