Good morning Year 3 and 4! We hope you’re keeping busy at home and enjoying the change of scenery!
Here are your activities to try and complete today:
English: Create a fact file (non-fiction information)
Mount Vesuvius
Research information about Mount Vesuvius and create a fact file about it.
Your work could include information about what the physical features of the volcano (size, shape etc.) where it is, more detail about what happened in AD 79 and what was discovered.
Remember to include subheadings, data and diagrams.
Extension – create fact files about other well-known volcanoes.

Spelling: Choose 10 words from the Year 3 and 4 statutory spelling list to practise. You can continue to use Spelling Shed J
Maths: Adding Fractions
Use coloured bricks / lego or print fraction circles from the internet. Have a go at adding fractions with the same denominator when they add up to less than one whole, then have a go at adding fractions which add to more than one whole.

Use lego or print fraction circles off the internet to help you to practise adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator.
