Hoodwinked information

From Bean to Bar - Spring Term 1  2017

This half term we have been looking at the topic of chocolate.  We have explored where chocolate originates from and designed our very own chocolate bars.  Within English, we have explored persuasive texts.  The children have used varying sentence openers, slogans and alliteration to create their very own advert for their bar of chocolate. Thank you for all your support with the creative homework.  Miss Wilkinson and Mrs Hicken have sampled some wonderful creations.

Within Maths, we have been looking at division and multiplication.  Keep on practicing your times tables at home to see if you can beat your weekly score on Friday.

We are having a real drive on homework this half term.  Make sure that you hand in your spellings homework each Friday.  We will be checking each Monday if you have read 3 times at home to an adult.  Its really important that we read as much as possible.  Remember that you can also complete homework on a Wednesday lunchtime at homework club.
